1. Purpose
Waystar Capital is committed to preventing money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud and other financial crime. This policy summarises the checks we carry out and what we expect from clients.
2. Know Your Customer
Before we open or fully activate an account we need to confirm who you are. We may ask for:
- a valid government-issued photo ID;
- proof of address, such as a recent utility bill or bank statement;
- information about your employment, source of funds and trading experience;
- further documents if our checks require them.
We may repeat these checks over the life of the account, for example when you change details or make large or unusual transactions.
3. Payments
Deposits and withdrawals should be made in your own name and, where possible, through the same method and account. We may refuse or return payments from third parties, or payments we cannot trace to you.
4. Monitoring
We monitor accounts and transactions for activity that looks unusual or inconsistent with what we know about you. We may delay, hold or refuse a transaction while we review it.
5. Reporting
Where the law requires, we report suspicious activity to the relevant authorities. We may be prohibited from telling you that a report has been made.
6. Restricted activity
We do not accept clients who are subject to applicable sanctions, who give false information, or who use our services for unlawful purposes. We may close an account and return funds, where lawful, if we have concerns.
7. Records
We keep identity and transaction records for the period required by law, even after an account is closed.
8. Your cooperation
Please respond promptly to verification requests and keep your details up to date. Delays in providing documents can delay deposits, withdrawals and account activation. Questions can be sent to info@waystarcapitals.com.
